Gill Keeka – Roche, Optimall Managed Service Manager

Gill Keeka has a highly successful 15 year career in in-vitro diagnostics driven by a keen interest in commercial business models and evolving technology.

After successfully qualifying as a Biomedical Scientist Gill gained a good understanding of the healthcare sector working for the NHS across Newcastle Upon Tyne and Gateshead hospitals. It was during this period that Gill became involved in the developments of Point of Care Testing services and the formation of a dedicated team for the Trust.

Gill’s keen enthusiasm for the expanding and complex area of Point of Care Testing took her to Roche, where she has developed her career with a strong commercial foundation. Of the seven years at Roche, Gill has worked with a focus on managed services since 2009. Within the Optimall Managed Pathology Service team she is a specialist for Point of Care Testing and brings valuable knowledge and experience to the clients she works with.
